JEE Main Chapter-wise PYQ: how the books sort the official papers

What a chapter-wise JEE Main PYQ book is, which publishers make one, how to build your own from the free official papers, and which to buy if you want it done for you.

Checked 29 Oct 2026

What the book is

Aspirants revising chapter by chapter in the last months before JEE Main.

What is inside

  • The official NTA papers sorted by chapter, with solutions, from Arihant, Disha, MathonGo and others
  • The same questions are free from NTA, unsorted

The free originals

Every question in these books comes from an official paper, and the papers are free: JEE Advanced from the organising IIT’s archive, JEE Main from NTA. The book’s value is the chapter sorting, the solutions and the trend tables. If you can sort the free PDFs yourself, you do not need it; most final-year aspirants pay for the time saved.

Is there a free PDF of JEE Main Chapter-wise PYQ?

No legal one. JEE Main Chapter-wise PYQ is a paid publication of its publisher. The “free PDF download” links on archive and Telegram sites are pirated scans, often of an old edition with pages missing, and the publisher has no obligation to keep them accurate. Competer does not host or link them.

What is free for the same purpose: the official papers linked in the sidebar, free from the exam bodies, and the chapter-wise lists on Competer Free. If you need the book itself, the printed edition is the honest route; it is also the one with the current edition’s corrections.

Where to get the printed edition

Competer stocks coaching modules, PYQ sets and notes for JEE and delivers across India with cash on delivery; the cards below are pulled live from the store, so a card means the item is in stock at that price today. If this book is not on a card, the store does not carry it right now; it is available from the publisher and the usual booksellers.

Questions aspirants ask

Is PYQ Enough for JEE Mains?

For what it covers, yes. Aspirants revising chapter by chapter in the last months before JEE Main. No single book is enough for JEE on its own; NCERT and the official past papers (both free) complete it, and the booklist page on this hub gives the full stack.
